Pms pops

Combination of sweet and salty

Ingredients
  

  • 1 box of Duncan hines chocolate cake
  • 2 plastic tub containers of marshmallow topping as shown above
  • 2 bags of Muncho chips
  • Cooking spray/ preferably with flour

Instructions
 

  • Mix cake as directed on box
  • If you have the cake pop trays, fill them accordingly and bake approximately 20 minutes. Oven's vary but you will obviously know when they are finished. Let completely cool.
  • In a ziplock bag add your chips and smash to little pieces..the finer the better.
  • Take your 1 at a time marshmallow topping and put in a microwaveable bowl. Heat in 10-20 second increments until very smooth and creamy.
  • Add your cake pop to a stick or straw. We dipped the end of the straw in marshmallow to keep the pop in place on the straw. Take a spoon and go in a downward motion to cover the pop completely with the marshmallow. In the palm of your hand take some munchos and start rolling and forming onto the ball.
  • For the cake version, which is obviously much simpler and less time consuming. Bake cake accordingly, melt the marshmallow just the same and pour on the cake after cake is cooled. Laurian suggests, just adding the chips to the mix and spreading with a spatula. You can go either way, try spreading the marshmallow on the cake first, and then add the chips. Either way, it's all good, trust me....and you are welcome!

Notes

One cake mix made 18 pops and I had batter left over that I made a small round cake.
